Wizkid Is The First African To Headline Glastonbury Festival

Grammy award-winning Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, made history on Friday night, as the first African musician to headline the United Kingdom, UK’s biggest music festival, Glastonbury.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner headlined the “Other Side Stage” of the festival which was held in Somerset, England.

The festival had over 210,000 attendees.

Wizkid performed a medley of his hit songs; ‘Essence’, ‘One Dance’, ‘Ojuelegba’, ‘Soco’, ‘True Love’, etc.

Recalls that Burna Boy also performed at the prestigious Glastonbury Festival last year but not as a headliner
